Years ago, Jake Hudson entered the Los Angeles business school on a Collins family scholarship. During a fraternity incident, he was rescued by Clair, the eldest daughter of the Collins family, and developed feelings for her. However, a drugging plot led Jake to mistakenly enter Clair's room. To protect the family's reputation, the elder Collins arranged a contract marriage between the two, while secretly entrusting Jake with investigating a traitor within the corporation.During the marriage, Clair misunderstood Jake's scheming nature, becoming cold and distant towards him, even allowing others to humiliate him.
