Poor college student Eleanor Vance has a one-night stand with Preston Sinclair, CEO of Sinclair Corp., and secretly has his son. To escape an arranged marriage set up by George and Brenda, she moves to the city for college with her baby. At the opening ceremony, Eleanor is mocked for breastfeeding in public, and her baby accidentally lands in the arms of Mr. Elias Sinclair during his school inspection. Convinced the boy is his grandson, he takes him back to the Sinclair family. Eleanor's hometown friend Melody Vance claims to be the mother and infiltrates the family. To silence Eleanor, Melody pays George and Brenda to drag her back to the countryside to get married. Overcoming many hurdles, Eleanor returns to school and is hired by Preston as the baby's nanny. As they grow closer, Preston falls for the kind, resilient Eleanor and questions her true identity. In the end, Melody's lies are publicly exposed. Eleanor and her son reunite with Preston, the villains face justice, and the family is finally whole.
